Recent geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have created significant shocks to the global economy: surging oil prices, shifting maritime routes, rising logistics costs, and increasing risks of supply chain disruptions. For a highly open economy like Vietnam, these developments are directly affecting key sectors such as energy, logistics, import-export, and agriculture.
Recognizing the need to assess risks and identify response strategies for the business community, the Hanoi Young Business Association organized the “Morning Coffee with HanoiBA” program under the theme:
“Middle East Conflict – Identifying Impacts and Proactive Responses for Vietnamese Businesses.”

The program also featured practical insights from Tran Dang Nam, who discussed the impact of the crisis on the transportation and logistics sector, and Than Van Hung, who highlighted challenges and opportunities for agricultural import-export amid global supply chain disruptions.
Through expert presentations and discussions, the program delivered a comprehensive, multi-dimensional view of geopolitical developments, their impact on Vietnam’s economy, and actionable solutions for businesses to navigate global market volatility.
